Jason Wang is a New York-based restauranter who serves as the driving force behind the business operations of Xi'an Famous Foods, a family-owned series of restaurants serving specialty cuisine from the Chinese city of Xi'an. He joined the business in 2009, at which time it consisted of a single location. Since then, the brand has expanded to over 16 locations.

As the CEO of Xi'an Famous Foods, Mr. Wang is committed to growing the company while preserving its standards for high quality and authentic culinary offerings. His responsibilities to this end include fine-tuning operational systems and processes to maintain efficiency and enhance consistency and scalability across all Xi'an Famous Foods locations. Beyond overseeing daily operations and managing financial performances, he is also involved in mentoring managerial and staff teams and maintaining a high-performance culture.

Mr. Wang remains engaged with the wider restaurant industry through membership with the National Restaurant Association and participation in the Restaurant Leadership Conference. His contributions to Xi'an Famous Foods’ success have earned him various accolades, such as recognition among Forbes' 30 Under 30 in 2014 and a nomination for the James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurateur in 2020.

Outside of his professional obligations, Jason Wang enjoys traveling to unusual, off-the-beaten-path destinations. He also has an interest in rocks and fossil hunting.
